Taking care of yourself, through images

A boudoir session is much more than just photos. It’s a moment just for you to reconnect, to breathe, and to welcome yourself just as you are. I’ve created different boudoir session packages to suit your rhythm, your budget, and your wishes but always with the same intention: to offer you an experience that’s gentle, respectful, and empowering.

La Chambre Boudoir

A woman who photographs women

Hi, I’m Josée, a boudoir photographer and a woman just like you. I create a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself and shine with confidence.

What my clients say about their experience

  • “What can I say about the time we shared… I’m speechless. It was such a beautiful pause in the middle of our fast-paced lives. A magical moment, captured through a kind and reassuring gaze — and so much talent. The photos are absolutely stunning!”
    – Cécile
  • “I absolutely loved doing my photo session with Josée! She makes you feel comfortable from the very first moment, there’s no awkwardness at all. She really listens to what you want, and the photos are beautiful and natural. She truly knows what she’s doing, and there’s not a trace of judgment in her approach.”

Got questions?

That is totally normal! A boudoir session isn’t something we do every day. Here are answers to some of the most common questions, to help you feel more confident and at ease.

No woman shows up to a boudoir session knowing exactly what to do — and that’s perfectly normal. It’s not your job to know how to pose; but it’s mine to guide you. And I say guide, not pose — because for me, there’s a big difference. I don’t force anything. I adapt to you, to how you feel, and I support you gently. I’m very attuned to discomfort, and I always notice it. That doesn’t mean we won’t step slightly outside your comfort zone, that’s often what brings women here, but we’ll do it together, at your pace, with full trust.

First of all, I have to say: I absolutely love photographing shy women. And don’t worry, it’s completely normal to feel nervous. You’ll be surprised by how natural the session feels. I promise! We take it one step at a time. The good news is, we’ll have already connected beforehand, so the ice will be partly broken. I always want to learn more about you and why you chose to do this session. Because to me, a boudoir session is first and foremost a meeting, the beginning of a genuine, trusting connection between two people seeking authenticity.

In boudoir, flow is everything. When you feel comfortable and fully in the moment, the most beautiful images happen naturally. Every time we change a look or a setting, that flow is interrupted and we have to start over. Limiting changes helps you stay connected, relaxed, and allows us to go deeper into poses and emotions. A boudoir session isn’t a fashion show; it’s a moment to settle in, take your time, and create something real.

No worries , that’s very common. I’ll help you prepare for your session: you can send me photos of what you already have at home, or explore my inclusive client closet filled with soft, flattering pieces in a variety of sizes (lingerie, kimonos, etc.). We’ll choose what makes you feel the most beautiful and comfortable.

Yes. In fact, that’s often why people come. A boudoir session can be an act of self-love, especially when you’ve been hiding, doubting, or feeling disconnected. We move at your pace, always with respect. All you need is the desire to take one small step and have faith in me.

I don’t do body modifications or “heavy retouching.” My approach is rooted in discovery and acceptance. I use light, angles, and posing to highlight what’s already there. Each photo is edited gently (light, contrast, natural skin work), but never to alter your body or who you are.

Absolutely! You can purchase a gift card (custom value or specific package) for a friend, a sister, a partner… It’s a unique, heartfelt gift… one that leaves a mark long after the photos are taken.

Most sessions take place in my cozy, private studio in Limoilou (Quebec City), designed for your comfort. But we can also shoot outdoors or in a space that feels like you — an Airbnb, your home… We’ll chat about it during our consultation.

I will never use your photos on my website, blog or social medias without your consent AND your written permission, so don’t worry: your images are safe with me. And the photos you’ll see in your online gallery can only be accessed with the password you receive.
